Chairman Mao has grown to become one of the most popular choices for Home and Office Delivery. The menu has expanded from just Chinese to include Thai, Japanese, Sushi and Gourmet Pizza so as to provide its customers with a diverse choice of quality cuisine. The inspiration behind this inception was a lack of quality food & service being offered primarily on the delivery side in the Defence / Clifton Area.
Our goal is to provide our customers with an unforgettable customer experience. From the time they pick up the phone to call us, until the food is delivered to their residence or office.
Our key to providing quality service is based on a strong software platform that we operate from. We can track your order History from the day you started ordering from us. Your likes and dislikes are entered into our system, and sent to the kitchen for preparation as such. If you are an existing customer you do not need to go through the entire process of repeating your name, phone number and address to us. Our Staff is extremely courteous and have been with us since the start of our operations, so they have built up familiarity with our customers. They are instructed to mention their name when they take your order, so you can refer to them if you need to call back. You can book future orders with us for e.g. a month in advance. On the date of your order, the system will automatically prompt us. Our delivery team of riders have all been hired from Courier companies, so they are extremely facile with locations. You will very rarely have to explain your address to our riders.
Our greatest asset is our ability to provide you with delicious, hot food. The delivery box which our food is sent in ensures that that it is piping hot when you receive it. If, for circumstances beyond your control, the food has arrived and your guests are late, you may call and request us to keep the boxes. This will ensure that the food is hot when your guests arrive.
Given the foreign nature of our food, you can expect that most of our ingredients are flown in from abroad. Strict hygiene measures are followed in our kitchen to ensure that the food quality is of the highest possible standard. We have a large store-room where all our deep freezers and fridges are housed. Then we maintain storage racks for all of our other supplies. Vegetables are bought fresh, then cut and consumed the very same day. No cut vegetables are kept overnight. Our suppliers for meat, poultry and seafood, are the same ones that have been supplying us over the past 6 years. We have built a great rapport with them, and they ensure that we get the best quality from them.
We feel very strongly about ethics. Tipping our riders is your prerogative. If a rider tells you that he does not have change, kindly call our office and inform us. We will ensure that the change is brought to you. Similarly if there is a complaint with the food, please do let us know. Without constructive criticism we can never continuously improve the quality of our food, or know why we have lost a customer.
